Our vision is to aid in the eradication of domestic violence globally and enlighten the public about its effects. We are in Atlanta, GA and currently seeking a Case Manager to help us eradicate this cause while supporting our rapid growth. Alma Domestic Violence Foundation has served over 3,500 survivors of domestic violence and 45,000 youth worldwide and provides support to over 35 shelters across the United States.

Basic Purpose of Position:


The Case Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive case management services to individuals who are in difficult situations suffering from or suspected domestic abuse. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the primary goal of this role is to help individuals and/or families maximize independence, dignity, and quality of life. The successful candidate must also have a passion for providing a voice to the victims of domestic violence,

which exemplifies the Alma Domestic Violence Foundation primary core value and commitment.


Responsibilities:

  • Answers crisis line during shift, assess immediate crisis needs of clients, and completes intake process.
  • Accomplishes clients’ care by assessing treatment needs, developing, monitoring, and evaluating treatment plans and progress, facilitating interdisciplinary approaches
  • Work with clients implementing individualized case management plans
  • Continually monitor and evaluate each client’s progression through their case management plan and develop corrective action revisions to the plan as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation of service objectives and outcomes as well as other services in accordance with Federal, State, County and ADVF guidelines
  • Provide advocacy services and assist clients in obtaining necessary resources to achieve case management goals
  • Actively participate in client-and-program related meetings, trainings, and support groups that may require occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Attend program-related community, coalition and committee meetings as assigned.
  • Maintain client related data systems, including case notes and complete HMIS entries
  • Prepare case management related reports including but not limited to outcomes, successes, etc.
  • Adheres to strict boundaries and professional ethics in the care of others

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or comparable combination of education/work related experience
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience and 2 years of experience working with domestic violence population at a DV shelter or agency preferred
  • Experience in social service setting with working knowledge of case management systems and planning techniques
  • Knowledge of addition/recovery processes along with related resources and the Continuum of Care for domestic violence
  • Must be insurable and provide own transportation for work related travel as necessary
  • Highly competent in this area of practice
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, presentation skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of individuals including health and other human service providers
  • Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision
  • Strong organizational and planning skills; ability to prioritize between multiple projects
  • Creative mind with ability to suggest improvements and make recommendations

supporting our rapid growth. Alma Domestic Violence Foundation has served over 3,500 survivors of domestic

violence and 45,000 youth worldwide and provides support to over 35 shelters across the United States.

Basic Purpose of Position:

The Program Manager will be responsible for researching, planning, developing, implementing, and managing the

foundation’s outreach program services and is responsible for the delivery and overall success of each program. This

role requires a deep knowledge of program management principles, strategic thinking and strong leadership

qualities. The successful candidate must have a passion for providing programs that will exemplify the Alma

Domestic Violence Foundation’s core values and commitment to domestic violence. He/she ultimately creates

experiences and brings visions to life.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan programs from start to finish, including procedures, milestones and deadlines that will add the highest possible value to the foundation and program participants.
  • Establish budgeting with the CEO and Development Manager for program operations and monitor each
  • program to make sure it stays within budget.
  • Generate comprehensive weekly progress reports on all active programs.
  • Work with the Development Manager in generating and submitting required reporting for applicable program grants.
  • Collaborate with CEO, Board of Director’s Program Committee and/or foundation’s delegates in the development and execution of the foundation’s growth strategy and help identify potential program funding sources.
  • Cultivate relationships with both federal and local government bureaus and other relevant program referral sources.
  • Develop strong partnerships with national civil and community organizations that offer support to the foundation and its program participants.
  • Ability to perform each project task seamlessly, often switching between high-level strategy and helping with supporting tasks as needed.
  • Ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies.
  • Oversee volunteer engagement and training
  • Collaborate on special events and fundraisers as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources or appropriate studies
  • Activity Director Certification (ADC) or Certified Project Director (CDP) is a plus
  • Minimum 3 years of program management experience in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment
  • Results-driven, decision making, communication and interpersonal skills are required
  • Solid understanding of performance-based goals and the ability to meet them

Basic Purpose of Position: 


The Development Manager (Fundraising) will be responsible for leading the foundation’s financial growth through annual fundraising and generating revenue via donations, sponsorships, special events and grant opportunities. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate’s primary focus will include leading all giving campaigns, donor stewardship, special events planning, grant proposal writing, grant reporting, context research and donor communication. He/she will need to have a collaborative “can-do” attitude, turning obstacles into opportunities. 


Responsibilities:


  • Implement and oversee the development program including but not limited to digital fundraising, legacy giving, major gifts, and direct mail. 
  • Create an annual plan that identifies strategies for increased giving, providing effective donor stewardship, increasing donor retention, attracting new donors, and deepening community engagement. 
  • Plan and lead company special events and fundraisers including annual gala and 5K race. 
  • Ensure proper gift processing and data entry into donor management software. 
  • Research, identify and apply for national, federal, state, local and awarded non-profit funding sources for
  • specific projects, programs and grant opportunities. 
  • Construct compelling, high-quality grant proposals, applications, and documents to yield significant
  • donations. 
  • Monitor and maintain government grants and contract documents in coordination with the respective
  • agencies and records management policies. 
  • Create effective communication and content for diverse groups including marginalized populations. 
  • Prioritize projects to keep multiple projects moving in a timely manner, meet deadlines and manage
  • supplemental material required for proposals. 
  • Maintains accurate documentation and records for execution of contract terms and ensures compliance
  • to grant requirements and laws. 
  • Knowledgeable and adheres to internal and external restricted fund accounting principles, procedures,
  • and standards.

Qualifications: 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Communications or appropriate discipline preferred 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fundraising, special events, grant writing, prospect research, or comparable 
  • Comprehensive knowledge, practices, and techniques of grant research, writing, administration and funding sources 
  • Strong presentation, written communication, and graphic design skills

We are in Atlanta, GA and currently seeking an Executive/Administrative Assistant to help us eradicate this cause while supporting our rapid growth. Alma Domestic Violence Foundation has served over 3,500 survivors of domestic violence and 45,000 youth worldwide and provides support to over 35 shelters across the United States. 

Basic Purpose of Position:

The Executive/Administrative Assistant is a multi-faceted role that supports the CEO and daily functioning of the Atlanta office. The individual should have experience in organizing office operations, providing high-level customer service, and strong administrative skills. To be successful in this role, the individual should be proactive, well-organized, have great time management skills and be able to act independently with little guidance. He/she must also be resourceful, possess a compassionate spirit and a cheerful attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day functions and fulfillment needs of the Atlanta office.
  • Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings, and arrange for CEO travel.
  • Track daily expenses and prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Office management including organize and maintain filing systems, create purchase order requisitions, manage supply inventory, and mail distribution. 
  • Perform administrative functions i.e. answering phone, drafting internal and external correspondences, creating presentations, copying workbooks and other materials, etc.
  • Coordinate maintenance and office cleanliness.
  • Take minutes during staff meetings.
  • Liaise and maintain collaborative relationships with the foundation’s stakeholders, sponsors, partners, vendors, volunteers, and service providers.
  • Supports team members on an as needed basis.
  • Assist with planning special events.
  • Ensure the protection of confidential and sensitive information.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Personal Assistant or similar role.
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with office equipment (fax, copier, etc.)
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
